Layouts 3 & 4

Here is the last of my 2008 soccer layouts.  I found these cute chipboard stickers in my stash and the matched really well so not only did I complete a layout I used older product.  I really want to use up the product I have been "saving" for just the right project.  There will always be new materials for my new pictures. So products used ctmh: emporium, random chipboard stickers.

The second layout is of Josh playing with Woody.  He loved him and played for ever with him.  He loved pulling the string and hearing him talk.  I threw a picture of Nate in with Buzz Lightyear just for fun :)  I think the layout is missing something.  I might journal on the second page near the cactus...not sure.  What do you think?  Products used: My Minds Eye B&T, DCWV cardstock, Joulies Boutique stickers.

"Peeps" for Tina

This is for my "sister" Tina at http://fairydust30.blogspot.com/.  She spoiled my youngest Joshua before he was even born.  She gave him 2 gifts, the first was a giraffe blanket as seen in the picture below.  I cannot tell you how much he loves his "raffi".  His whole face lights up when he sees it, even if its only been minutes.  He has slept with it since he was old enough to hold it.  It's his comfort item!!!  This is Josh at a month old

The second gift she gave was another giraffe but this was one of the ones that plays soothing sounds to help babies sleep.  It really worked but we've always had it attached to the side of the crib for safety.  Well he's old enough now that he can have it loose in his crib and last night we found it wrapped up in his arms.  The picture isn't the best since after I took it he woke up...He is now 13 months and growing way too fast!!!

I can't wait to scrap these pics...should I ever be able to get to my room again :)  So a big thank you once again to Tina for not only providing comfort to my son but also for your love and friendship!

Proud Mommy Moment

I have been sending pictures into ctmh for their catalogs since I became a consultant 4 years ago.  I finally got one published in the 2011 spring/summer book.  It was really funny because I was flipping through it online and passed by and thought wait a minute I know those kids and flipped right back.  My DH was laughing at me because I was so excited and then asked if I was going to scrapbook the scrapbook catalog...of course I am tee hee!  Anyways here are Briana and Henry aka Katelyn (my niece) and William (my ds).  This pic was taken in 2007 in October for our annual fall pictures and is one of many that I love from that trip!

Casa Loma

Okay so this one doesn't count for the layout challenge since I did it last year but it was one of my favorites so I thought I would share.  It took us an hour to get to Casa Loma in Toronto that day due to all the construction.  My Dh was so frustrated that I didn't think he was going to let us go in.  We had more bad milk at lunch in the restaurant there (still not sure how people in Ontario get to have milk...it was always sour when we bought it) but after all the trauma we had a great time looking around and got some great pics of the kids.  It ended up being a fun day :)

Layout uses all ctmh...Emporium, Colour Ready Alpha, Love Rub Ons and Pewter Brads.  Thanks for looking!

Layouts 1 & 2

Layout #1 is all ctmh product.  I'm trying to use up some old product and Stardust works so well with the kids soccer pics...I did 2010's pics in it as well.  2009 will be a challenge to do something new :)  Better use it all up before then so I'm not tempted!!!

Layout#2 is all Bo Bunny product.  We were camping in Edmonton in 2009 with my in-laws.  It's always so much fun and the kids love it!

Time to get challenged!

First of all Happy New Year!  2010 was a really amazing year for me and my family and I am sad to see it go!  My husband I were truly blessed to be able to both be at home for the full year with our 3rd child, me on maternity leave and him working only part time.  What a great time for our family..now with Christmas done and the kids back in school and myself back at work :( we have settled into a new routine.   Time to start getting some crafting back into that routine.  My fellow ctmh sister Rosalynd Kelly at http://www.inmyscrappinroom.blogspot.com/ is part of a layout challenge that I have request to take part in.  I am challenging myself to do 52 layouts in the next year.  So in honour of that challenge I am posting one of the layouts Roz completed for our funky swap #2 (round #3 is coming up fast).  Wish me luck and thanks for stopping by!
